When my contacts were out, everything was blurry. At work I am at a computer +10 hrs/day. My eyes were always red from over wearing my contacts. I am happy to report that my surgery went well and my eyes are healing just fine! They talked me through the whole procedure. I can NOW see the alarm clock when I wake up in the morning! I can also do pilates/yoga without rubbing my contacts back into place when they moved. I highly recommend Dr. Chynn and his staff. Everyone in glasses and/or contact lenses has at least thought about getting rid of them but are hesitating for financing reasons or because of fear. If you have any questions about your own eyes, send them to dr@parkavenuelaser.com and Dr. Chynn will personally respond to you. Dr. Chynn can reassure you so you too can get rid of their glasses w/ the non-cutting LASEK procedure he pioneered in NY

I was tired of my losing or ripping my contacts, i broke my $300 prescription glasses twice, and i was just plain tired day to day hardship of relying on them both. It seemed like my vision was getting worst by the year. I did my research and decided to go to park avenue laser. My procedure took about 20 to 25 minutes (both eyes), a little longer than usual because my prescription was sooo high (+6.50 and a +7.50 lol i know i was blind). There was no pain during or after the surgery and just slight discomfort a few days after. It’s now a month later and i am sooo happy i did it. I would recomend this to anyone. I am completely glasses and contact free. It’s funny to put on my old glasses and see what everyone was laughing at when they looked through them (nothing but distortion.) 102 East 25th Street (& Park Ave South) New York, NY 10010 (212) 741 – 8628 www.ParkAvenueLaser.com

It has been a little over a month since the surgery and I see as well as when I had my glasses. I hope when I go back on the 27th of May that they will tell me that I’m seeing 20/15! I was seeing 20/20 one week later. It is so nice not to use glasses or contacts any more.
