Oops–hit “remove” instead of reply. I don’t remember being able to see the laser. They just have you stare at a target right in front of you for the whole thing.

Can I see anything? I still see 20/20… I’m not sure what your mom means. Not every eye doctor can perform the surgery–you have to go to a laser eye clinic. Not every person can get the surgery. I was borderline… My eyesight and pupil size were factored in. Best bet is to find a reputable laser eye clinic and just go talk to them. They can tell you if you’re a good candidate for the surgery.

I think I was about 29 when I had mine done. You should definitely wait till your prescription evens out. From what I was told, it’s basically like starting over, so if your eyes get worse every year, they’ll still do that after the surgery. Wait till they stop getting worse, and then get it done. Definitely worth the money!!!
How old were you …
How old were you when you got your Lasik eye surgery? My mom says I shouldn’t get it until around 21-ish. I have myopia and I hope lasik can fix it. I’m terribly blind w/o my glasses and I think life would be a lot easier w/o them.
